Our Future Growth Plan:

The Helping Hands International is working to acquire property in the Croix-des-Bouquets region to build a new grade 1-12 school, a fully equipped Orphanage and enough land for the self sufficiency projects.
The Region
We’ve decided to develop our new projects in this northern suburb of  the Port-Au-Prince (about 8.0 miles to the northeast)  Expanding to this area will provide greater safety and wider scope of opportunity The city of Croix-des-Bouquets is on the Plaine du Cul-de-Sac, where many people grow organic foods such as beans, sweet potato, and corn.

Mrs. Kelley and Sarah Hackley visited the area at the end of August to scout out the region and found a suitable location large enough to meet all the planned building and expansion projects. We are now beginning a new campaign to raise funds to purchase the land by 2023.

Jehovah Jireh High School 2025

We now have a pressing need to add a school facility that will allow us to accommodate the new younger children entering our program and meet the needs of our students who are matriculating  to secondary grade levels.

Joshua House: The Orphanage 2026

Our orphanage and children’s center will be called Joshua House.  It will function as a non-government, non-denominational, apolitical institution and will be operated and managed by the same team that runs our Jehovah Jireh School in Port Au Prince.

Self Sufficiency Programs

Co-op Vegetable Garden 2028

Part of our vision is to create a functioning vegetable garden that can fully supply the needs of our schools and orphanage.
