HHIKIDS in Port Au Prince

The school provides uniforms, books, education and two meals a day
FREE to over 150 children every day.

How Our School Operates:

Our main purpose is to train and equip our boys and girls to become responsible, self-sufficient adults.  We fully expect  to create a new society of young adults that will obliterate multi-generational cycles of poverty and abuse.

We provide an excellent basic education.  We teach students reading, writing and mathematics in English and French.  At every grade level we stress character and confidence building.  From the first grade all students learn how to identify career paths and personal goal achievement techniques such as planning and time management.

We have effective strategies that meet the unique needs of the poorest of  children.  We are from Haiti.  We know what the people need and how they think. Our self sufficiency program will enable us to multiply your donated resources and allowing us to reach far more children than ever before.

In addition to academics all students learn practical marketable skill such as carpentry, farming, car repair and gardening.

We build Confidence and Character. We don’t just teach basic skills, we work to create an alternative path for these children and we are committed to do whatever it takes to help them fulfill their academic potential and build a stable, fulfilling life.
Our Goals:

1000 Graduates in 10 Years:
Projections indicate that we can  expect to have produced 1000 high school graduates in the next 10 years.
Imagine the Impact of 1000 students with marketable skills and confidence will have on our country when they are earning more in one year than the combined income of everyone in their family--- for the past 4 generations.

Sustained Self Sufficiency:
